Please welcome Past District Governor and District Foundation Chair, Prasad Menon to our Club. Prasad is a member of the Simsbury-Granby Rotary Club and he will explain the impact of The Foundation on our Club, the District and the world. Learn how we are a part of something greater.

Rotarians are committed to doing good in the world. The Rotary Foundation provides guidance and resources to clubs to help them accomplish life changing results around the globe and within their communities. While Foundation programs are not the only projects that clubs take on - they are certainly the largest and often leverage the resources of several clubs in several countries. Foundation programs tend to fall within the six areas of focus: peace and conflict resolution, education and literacy, child and maternal health, clean water and sanitation, fighting disease and economic development.
