The Agawam Rotary Club created a pollinator garden next to the existing community garden at the Agawam High School.  The garden is an educational opportunity for the students and will be dedicated to the teachers and staff of the Agawam Public Schools.

Once the garden is established, it will be used as part of an outdoor classroom where, under teacher supervision, the students will be able to participate in caring for the garden. The garden will give students the opportunity to study pollinators and learn about their importance in our ecosystem.  This project works in concert with one of Rotary International's Areas of Focus, Protecting the Environment.

This project was supported by a Rotary Foundation District 7890 Grant.  Volunteer labor was supplied by the Agawam Rotary Club, friends, and Agawam High School students and faculty.
