Rotarians are dedicated to service above self. Hosting Guest Speakers from area non-profits, is one way Rotary Members learn about opportunities to help the community. On April 3, 2024, Agawam Rotary Club members heard from Bob Fastie, Executive Director of the Parish Cupboard in West Springfield. The Parish Cupboard provides meals and groceries to individuals and families in need throughout West Springfield, Agawam, and Feeding Hills.
In December, the organization changed how it provides groceries to clients-becoming a food choice pantry-inviting people in need from Agawam, West Springfield, and Feeding Hills to select the grocery items they need, rather than just giving them a prefilled box. The Parish Cupboard has almost doubled the number of families served since 2021. Learn more about The Parish Cupboard’s website offers a WISH LIST which includes most in-demand items:
